Not your classic New Year’s drink…
It’s a new year, and we’re kicking it off in style with a bold twist! Join us for ‘We Toast and Roast to 2025’, where we’ll celebrate, laugh, and maybe even cringe a little, as we toast to the future and roast the past year (and ourselves).
This is no ordinary New Year’s reception. Forget the predictable speeches – this evening will be about sharp humor, candid truths, and good-natured fun. We’re handing the mic to none other than Frederik De Bosschere, digital strategist, speaker, and the perfect “grillmaster” to turn up the heat on the Belgian (and Ghent-based) tech scene.
What’s a roast, you ask?
Think of Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes or the infamous Comedy Central Roasts. It’s a playful (and sometimes savage) format where no one is safe – but it’s all in good fun. Frederik will use his razor-sharp wit to call out trends, poke fun at egos, and bring everyone safely back down to earth, all while keeping the vibe lighthearted.
