E/tape - Eli © Camille Blake-51

e/tape

e/tape is a DJ whose practice is shaped by attentive listening, movement and long-term engagement with sound across cultures and environments. Alongside his performance work, he operates as a music curator, developing listening environments for diverse contexts. Formed through years of travel and immersion, his work approaches DJing as a form of narrative construction, where selections are guided by memory, place and the subtle relationships between sounds. His sets unfold patiently, suspended between motion and stillness.

Drawing from a wide range of sources including rhythm, texture, field recordings and melodic fragments, his selections are treated with care and restraint, allowing space for perception, presence and transformation through listening. e/tape has presented his work internationally at cultural institutions, festivals and clubs including Fondazione Prada, Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, Houghton Festival, Waking Life, Meakusma and Beursschouwburg.

Perila

Perila is a Berlin-based sound and visual artist, DJ, performer and poet exploring sensitive borderlines and the depths of subtle matter. Her practice centres around textures, tangibility and the spatiality of field recorded sound, raw emotions, voice, poetry, body and change. She approaches music as a healing and transformative agent, an invitation to open other layers of engagement with reality through deep listening, observation, presence and mutual dialogue with an audience.

Her work has been released on labels including Smalltown Supersound, The Trilogy Tapes, Shelter Press and West Mineral Ltd. She is the founder of WET, an online community featuring podcasts with spoken word, poetry, ASMR and field recordings.

Islas

ISLAS

islas is the artist name of Ailsa Cavers, a Brussels-based DJ and co-founder of Belgian record label Basic Moves. Following a background in visual arts, she developed long, immersive sets that bring together delay pedals, ASMR, spoken word, film scores and ambient sounds, playing with the friction that arises when two records meet and the joy that erupts when sounds come together into something previously unheard.

Her artist name is a tribute to Eliane Radigue's Islas Resonantes, an important ambient work by the pioneering female electronic musician. In 2017 she co-founded Basic Moves, a Brussels outsider club music label highlighting the continuity between the past and present of the Belgian electronic music scene. She also co-founded the PLANET collective, with a repertoire spanning both dance-oriented and ambient sets.

Joëlle Snaith

Joëlle Snaith is an audiovisual artist and designer based in London. She works at the intersection of live visuals, performance and interaction design, exploring the relationship between sound and form. Snaith translates music into visual language through frequencies and minimal structures, creating compositions entirely sculpted by sound. She is the visual artist for electronic musician and DJ Richie Hawtin and a resident at FOLD, London.
