Delve into the world of Ghislain Mahy, the Ghent car dealer who transformed the Wintercircus into a showroom for his impressive car collection. With as many as 950 classic cars, one of the largest collection of vintage cars in the world once stood here.

For the occasion, we are bringing a small selection of the Mahy cars back to their former home. In the Arena, you will stand face to face with the legendary vehicles, some of which were never restored and are therefore still completely original. Worth the visit - car enthusiast or not.

You’ve probably heard of GHOST: a walking tour with short performances (max. 15 minutes) at unique hidden locations. For our anniversary edition, the theme will be Betsy - the last trunked resident of the Wintercircus.

According to local urban legends, she was turned into elephant sausage and devoured by hungry mouths all over Ghent. Now, her ghost is back, haunting the Wintercircus and dragging a veil of unrest behind her - in the shape of a ravenous local crowd.

GHOST takes you through secret spots in and around the Wintercircus: wander across the arena, over rooftops, along De Krook and even on the water. After that, you’re free to roam around.
