Bar Bougie is the café on the inner courtyard of the Wintercircus and takes up residence in the former car workshop. What’s more: the interior keeps the memory of the Mahy Fiat garage very much alive.
Today, it’s a place where you can settle in to work remotely in peace (free Wi-Fi!), enjoy great drinks and bites, join one of our events – or even host your own.

Wintercircus is situated in the vibrant city center of Ghent. We are a stone’s throw awayfrom key landmarks like De Krook, Viernulvier (Vooruit), Gent Zuid, De Kouter and the iconic towers of the city. Our unique building connects the old and the new, blending its rich history with a forward-thinking community and a myriad of spaces and things to do.
Wintercircus has three public entrances: the main one at Lammerstraat 13, perfect for accessing our food and drink venues; a second at Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat 11; and the third at Miriam Makebaplein 2, next to city library De Krook. All three offer direct access to our public city square: The Arena.
